Half-way Point and Calling All Artists

We are at the half-way mark of our year-long fundraising effort to build the Heart to Heart School in Cambodia. We have collected just under $4000 to date, so just $9000 to go! If you want to donate, you can mail a check (made out to American Assistance for Cambodia) to us at 765 Elkmont Drive, Atlanta 30306. Or you can donate using PayPal – just log into your account and click on “Send Money”. Enter the email address Bernie@media.mit.edu and the amount you would like to donate. In the message portion, please indicate that the donation is for the Heart to Heart School.

We are currently planning our major fundraiser – a cocktail reception and silent art auction at the Timothy Michael Gallery in Roswell. The event is on Saturday, October 20 at 8pm, so mark your calendars! Our website (www.hearttoheartschool.org) will be up in the next couple of weeks, and it will have all of the event details.

Calling all artists! We have already collected several pieces for the silent art auction and several more artists are creating work specifically for this event. But the more art we have, the more money we can raise for the school. If you or anyone you know is an artist of any kind and would be willing to donate one or two pieces for this cause, it would be greatly appreciated!
